When it comes to robot vacuums, it doesn’t get much better than iRobot, which consistently ranks at the top of our lists of the best robot vacuums. If you’ve always wanted a Roomba, but have been off-put by the high price point, we’ve got great news: the iRobot Roomba i6 is on sale for a great deal right now at QVC, down from $588.33 to just $379.98, saving you a cool $200.

While we haven’t tested the iRobot i6 specifically, we did test its close sister model, the i6+, which operates much the same as our hands-down favorite robot vacuum, the iRobot Roomba i7+, but comes with fewer accessories. The only difference between the iRobot Roomba i6 and the i6+, in fact, is that the latter comes with the Automatic Dirt Disposal system, which automatically sucks up the collected dirt into a bag that you need only empty every month or two (or more) once full. You can, however, purchase the upgraded Automatic Dirt Disposal home dock separately if you decide you want it down the line.

The iRobot i6 is an affordable, powerful robot vacuum.

We found the i6+ “killed it” in our dirt pickup tests, suctioning up an average of 10.45 grams of dirt per run—the same numbers we saw with the i7+. We love the iRobot Home app it works with, which is smart and intuitive, making it easy to schedule cleans, check the vacuum’s status, and even control the vacuum by voice using Alexa or Google Assistant (with a compatible smart speaker).

At full price, or if you can get it for a good deal, we’d recommend going with the iRobot Roomba i7+ robot vacuum, which we deem the best overall robot vacuum. It typically sells for the same price as the i6+, which, as noted, is a virtually identical vacuum to the i7+ from a performance standpoint. But if you’re just looking for a good, reliable budget robot vacuum without all the bells and whistles that will still offer effortless cleaning of your home, at this sale price of under $400, the i6 is totally worth it.
