The Emir of Muri in Taraba State has warned kidnappers and their conspirators in the state to desist from their ways or be ready to face jungle justice, as the people are fed up with the unresolved cases of kidnapping.

The traditional ruler said the cases of kidnapping for ransom have become disturbing, despite pointers for security agencies on persons responsible.

For the first time, a public figure has publicly disclosed that the incessant cases of kidnappings in Taraba State and the country, which seemingly has remained mysterious, are not what they are.

The Emir of Muri, Abbas Tafida, said the kinsmen of the kidnappers know their identities.

He even accused an unidentified traditional ruler in Taraba State of allegedly conniving with the kidnappers.

He gave the kidnappers in various forests across the state, 30 days to vacate or have the people take the laws into their hands.

The Executive Secretary of the Taraba State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Aminu Jauro, narrowly escaped when kidnappers came for him at his residence in Jalingo.

With the easy abduction of residents, and hundreds of millions already paid as ransom to secure the release of victims, Taraba residents have continued to live in fear of who could be the next victim, as the assailants target the poor and the well to do alike.
