A 5-year-old girl was kidnapped and held captive for days by a man she called “the monster,” who is also a suspect in the murder of her father, a local report said.

The girl was rescued by cops several weeks ago when a neighbor heard her scream for help.

“The monster is coming to get me,” Maggie Millsap yelled to the neighbor from the window of a Detroit duplex on June 30, according to the neighbor’s account given to Fox 2 Detroit on Tuesday.

“She goes, ‘Help me. Help me please,’ ” neighbor Raynell Jones told the station. “When the guy walks back up, she says, ‘The monster is back,’ and then she closes the curtain.”

The girl’s slain father was found at the building when police came to rescue the little girl, the report said.

“I don’t want to think of what could’ve happened. I don’t want to go there. They saved this girl’s life,” Detroit Detective James Kraszewski, told WKYZ, referring to Maggie’s neighbors.

“As soon as she saw us, she jumped up, she jumped in [the officer’s] arms and said, ‘I want to be the police when I grow up,’ ” Kraszewski reportedly added.

Dangelo Cash Clemons, 30, was charged with kidnapping and child enticement and being held on a $250,000 bond and a GPS tether, prosecutors said.

“It is alleged that Defendant Clemons abducted the child from her home and fled to the residence next door,” Wayne County Prosecutors wrote in a press release on July 3.

Clemons, who lived in the duplex unit next door to the child, is also being investigated for the murder of Maggie’s father, Cody Millsap, according to WDIV Local 4.

“I loved them, that little girl and her dad,” Maggie’s godmother, Karla Reaves reportedly told WDIV.

“He made sure she did five math problems and read a book before we took her to the park. I love them so much,” she said.

The 5-year-old girl is now reportedly in foster care.

“I’ve never ever come across a case like this ever,” Kraszewski told the Fox 2. “This will go with me until the end.”

Detroit Police did not respond to The Post’s request for comment on the case Wednesday evening.
