The Executive Secretary for the Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, David Ayewa, has said that the 2020 pilgrimage exercise is going to take place at the Ismael Kingdom of Jordan, and not Isreal.

He said this on Friday, during a one-day orientation for the 257 intending pilgrims from the state.

David Ayewa said they are moving the 2020 pilgrimage that was interrupted by Covid 19 to Ismael, because the state of Isreal is not willing to accept 2020 pilgrims, as the whole world is going through a devastating pandemic situation, and Isreal has taken a serious stand.

He further said that the state of Jordan is the plan B for the 2020 pilgrimage exercise.

David further said, they choose the Kingdom of Jordan, because it is a Bible Study Site, and there are sites in the Kingdom of Jordan, that they want to explore.

The orientation programme was aimed at sensitizing the pilgrims on appropriate behaviour and conducts, during the pilgrimage
