Sevilla Fc Arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Tuesday ahead of a post-season match against Simba SC as part of the LaLiga World Challenge programme.

The Squad, accompanied by the technical, club president Jose Castro and Sporting Director Ramon Rodriguez 'Monchi' landed late on Tuesday afternoon at Julius Nyerere International Airport where they were received by local authorities, SportPesa-LaLiga regional partners -representatives and the Spanish Consul in Tanzania, Teresa Martin. Upon Arriving at the airport, the team enjoyed a welcome ceremony and traditional Tanzania dances.

Sevilla will face local heavyweight Simba Sc on Thursday 23rd May at 7pm (local Tanzania time) as part of the 'LaLiga World SportsPesa Challenge' at Tanzania National Main Stadium. The Match will be broadcasting locally in Tanzania on Safari TV, on SuperSports across Africa and on beIN LaLiga, LaLiga TV and SFC TV in Spain.

Simba SC: Dar es Salaam side Simba SC are one of Tanzanian football's most historic and successful club. Founded in 1936 as 'Queens,' Simba have won 19 Tanzanian Premier League titles, an almost unmatched record. Currently managed by Belgian Coach Partrick Aussems, the current side boasts ab attacking line led Rwandan stricker Meddie Kagere and fed by Zambian midfielder Clatous Chota Chama, Simba recently drew international acclaim by reaching the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League on 2019 for the first time in 25 years, beating the likes of continental heavyweight Al-Ahly of Egypt and AS Vita of Congo along the way.
