Non-state actors (NSA) are among key actors in the development space. They are expected to play many and varied roles. Some have been playing their expected roles while some might not have been doing so. In this article, the author outlines the expected contributions of NSAs in Tanzania’s development. It is to be noted that the author is a stakeholder in the NSAs space in various capacities.
