A compilation album aiming to raise money to save London dance venue Fabric will feature the likes of Simian Mobile Disco, Clams Casino and more.
Fabric was controversially shut on September 7 after Islington Council revoked its license following a seven-hour meeting. One of the primary reasons for their decision was the council’s belief that “a culture of drugs exists at the club which management cannot control.”

However, the club subsequently launched an appeal against its closure shortly after the verdict was announced. The outcome of the appeal is set to be heard at Highbury Magistrates Court on November 28.
The 111-track ‘#SaveFabric’ fundraising album will feature songs from electronic acts such as Simian Mobile Disco, Clams Casino, Skream, Pinch, Appleblim, Clark, Machinedrum, Max Cooper, Nathan Fake, Untold and Throwing Snow. Pre-order the album on Bandcamp. It’s out November 4.
